Top 7 Billiard Games to Play on a Standard Pool Table (Part 2)

Welcome back to our list of top 7 billiard games you might not have ever heard of.  That’s right we are covering lesser  known pool games  than the classic 8-ball or 9-ball.  Last post we covered One Pocket as a fun, challenging,  2 player pool table game.  This post we will introduce you to a pool game great for groups.

  1. Cutthroat Pool Game

Cutthroat is a fun pool game for a group of three, or 3 teams of two.  You rack with a standard pool rack using all 15 balls. After the break the first player or team gets a chance to pick five balls (1-5, 5-10 or 10-15) based on what was sunk during the break.  You want to keep your group of balls on the table, and both opponents are trying to sink your balls. You keep going until you scratch or miss a shot.  On a scratch, a ball from each other group gets spotted. If you sink one of your  balls you are helping the other teams win.  The player with the last remaining balls on the table wins.

Whether you are playing cutthroat on your home pool table or out at a bar on a standard pool table, cuttroat is a fun pool game to for a larger group of players.

If you don’t happen to have a gaming table at home or looking to expand your game room furniture, we might have pool table for sale for you at a great price.

Stay tuned next post for another great new pool table game from our list of top billiard games.
